Habanero Hot Sauce From Hell

Habanero Hot Sauce From Hell. The bottle's claim to be “Beyond Hot" as well as it being "The World's Hottest Hot Sauce," is obviously far from the truth. I do thank them for the warning, but this hot sauce was rather watered down. Like other similar sauces, one of the ingredients is carrots. I’m not sure I’m too crazy about the taste of carrots in my hot sauces.

Regardless the ingredients, this stuff is really hot. Not necessarily the hottest hot sauce, but it will defiantly bring the heat to most hot lover’s tongues. A bottle of this stuff can be found for as little as $7. You can purchase this Hot Sauce from SweetNSpice by clicking that link. I’m sure they have come coupons out there for it too, so Google the name and coupon.

This sauce may not be the hottest hot sauce, but it is a great hot sauce choice for every day use.

Tabasco Sauce the Hottest Hot Sauce ... or not

Tabasco, perhaps the most common hot sauce around. Tabasco sauce can be found at almost all restaurants and even at fast food places. As for it being one of the hottest hot sauces, that is a big no. Tabasco is for the apprehensive hot sauce lover in us all. Tabasco sauce contains just enough heat to deliver at burn with out too much pain involved. I would have to give it about 4 out of 10 on the hotness scale.

Tabasco seems generic in comparison to other hot sauces because, well, it is. If you looking for the flavor of hot with out the burn, Tabasco is the way to go. The sauce is very straight forward, basically consisting of tobacco peppers and vinegar.

This hot sauce can be found at every grocery store and as I said, most convenience store and restaurant in America and is relatively cheap. If you looking for a sauce that will taste hot with out too much pain, this is the hot sauce for you. But if you’re looking for the hottest hot sauce, go else where.

Barack Obama Hot Sauce ?

I’m not sure if this is one of the hottest hot sauces or not, but I just had to blog about it. Everyone seems to be jumping on the Obama bandwagon. Presenting the new Barack Obama 2009 presidential collectors edition hot sauce. Like I said, I haven’t tried it yet so if anyone has leave a comment and let me know. Show support for hot sauce and for your president at the same time. The ingredients are like every other hot sauce, pretty simple and but you can't tell how hot this sauce will be based on them.

This hot sauce is on sale for 6.75 at HotSauce.com (links to the product page) and will make a great gag gift or just a gift in general.

Stay tune for more of the hottest hot sauces to come!

Trip to New Orleans, and Louisiana’s Hot Sauces

If you think you’ve had awesome hot sauce you need to go to New Orleans. Other hot sauces just don’t compare to what they have there. We just went to New Orleans this past weekend and they had every type of hot sauce to buy at pretty much every store. Including the famous Blaire’s hot sauce and Louisiana hot sauces. Now I’m a Texas Pete girl myself so I can only do so hot. However, New Orleans food has that great flavorful burn we all love so much. Everyone there uses something different. (Although I didn’t see any Tabasco on the restaurant tables)

I’m a fan of the Louisiana hot sauces which is what I saw around the most. I don’t like any of the other flavors besides the original Louisiana hot sauce. For some reason I think once they do the flavors it’s just not as good, and that flavor can overpower your food before the heat does. These types of hot sauces aren't particularly appealing to me because of that reason, I wanna taste the heat/burn, not some random flavor. The picture is of a wall of hot sauces from just one store in Louisiana, they had tons. Every hot sauce lover should make his/her way to New Orleans, Louisiana at some point for sure!

The Source: Hot Hottest Hot Sauces

Out of all the hot sauces around, The Source, is one of the hottest
(perhaps the hottest hot sauce) on the market. The Source is rather expensive ($87! But there are plenty of coupons online
for it) but it is worth it! The Source, is different from other hot
sauces because it’s not actually a sauce. It’s actually an extract, which means it really brings the heat. The Source
comes in a 1 oz. bottle but all you need is a drop. Apparently you can
get around 100 pots of chili from one bottle, which makes the cost
seem more reasonable. The source really brings the heat, 7.1 million
Scoville units.

This is one of the strongest hot sauces I’ve ever tasted so use it VERY
sparingly unless you really enjoy pain. HotSauceWorld.com is running a
limited offer for the product, buy any two or more of the product and
get a bottle of hot sauce for free. Here is a link to the product on
their site. (www.hotsauceworld.com/source.html)
I recommend first time tasters of this hot sauce try a tooth pick’s
worth to start, because this stiff is hot! There are video’s
all over YouTube of people tasting The Source.

Have you tried this hot sauce? Know of some of the other hottest hot sauces, then leave a comment!
